Congratulation SPU Group for 1 year of anniversary
We start the moviment after the number of joined member reached about 170 philipins employees working at Taki cho in Matsuza city Mie prefrecture. After that precious open day, we fighted together, with strong heart during the period of 1 year. The results for this fighting is very satisfatory, because all members have rights to subscribe to the Social Health insurance, with long term of contract of 6 months, take annual paid leave,and for employees members that don’t want to subscribe to Social health Insurence can get 10 days of settlement money to take vacation to Philipins. Also, all GL employees members is free to decide where they want to live and the bus fee was reduced to half charge, so we continue fighting yet to increase salary, Bus fee zero campaign, inccrease the number of days of settlement money. So join us to fight together. To others Factory, make your Group.

Union Mie Supports YOU

The general union of workers in Mie, called UNION MIE, is an entity formed to defend and guide workers irrespective of nationality in cases of unfair dismissal as pregnancy, illness, occupational accident, moral insults, failure to pay wages or hours overtime, holiday pay, sexual harassment, dismissal for alleged lack of work, unemployment insurance and others.
To solve or avoid the above problems, a employee is in a vulnerable position before the employer even though knowledge of the labor laws.Generally when workers receive a verbal statement of dismissal of a charge, some just passively accepting the fact, however those who will lay claim their rights in the Labor Bureau, the contractor brazenly refuses the resignation and with the leniency of Labor facilities they are free to pratices any irregularities. So do not accept resignation verbally, do not sign any documents without knowing the content and especially be sure to provide the workplace or in the office, because they may claim the abandonment of work.
The charge (tantoushas) has no power to dismiss, claiming that it is even higher order of company.
Mie Union can support to solve the problem of labor laws dealing with driving the company itself or official government agencies as the Labor Bureau, Hello Work, the Regional Council work, Labor Law, etc..

We invite all workers who live and work in Japan to join this union, in order to improve working conditions and reduce the differences that we have before the permanent employees (Sei-shain). Most of the foreign community of workers is non-effective (hiseki rodoosha). So many foreigners and Japanese who were employed by temporary employment agencies (haken-shain), production by subcontractors (Ukeoi-shain) and even those who were hired directly by the factories, suffer discrimination, ill-treatment, low wages and not entitled to bonus and job security, with no right to the end of service gratuity (taishokukin), just because they are not permanent employees (Sei-shain).
we need courage and determination to join greater the number of unionf members in same factory, to demonstrate our power by the action of strike, forcing the company to make an agreement to change the internal rules of the factory and ensure stable employment and improving employment conditions.
Backed by the Constitution in Article 28 which says that all workers have the right to organize and to bargain and act collectively, you can form a union in the factory to negotiate or do strike without breaking the law, so you can join to Union Mie individually and expand to form a large union group within the company to have the right of representation in collective bargaining with the company, and to strike if negotiations result is not peaceful or positive for the union members.
In the Office of Labor Standards Inspection (Roodoo Tanya Kantokusho), you can just consult labor rules, but you have no way to negotiate with the company, so the Japanese consitution passed the bill for union workers to have the right to negotiate with companies to fight against any discrimination for being a member of the union or participate in union activities.
In Article 3 of the Labor Standards Law, it is stipulated that the employer should not do tracts of discrimination in relation to working conditions, wages, etc.., On grounds of nationality, social status and beliefs of the worker and a member of the union .
All companies with more than 10 employees are required to prepare internal rules and submit to the Bureau of Labor Standards Supervision (Article 89 of the Labour Standards Act).
The Law requires that the Rules of Work be accessible to everyone, (Art. 106 of the Act Labour Standards).
The best option is to unionize and fight for their rights, because laws and regulations are just standards to be achieved, but in practice this does not work, it depends if you're willing to fight collectively, or not, because if we continue acting individually, nothing shall take effect, because the law is for all workers, the law did not say just you have the right, think and act collectively. The democrats policy are not able to accomplish what was listed in the manifest declaration, so,
They abandoned people and collusioned with opposite party the liberal democratic compromising with the welfare system and causing political confusion.
About Fukushima nuclear power plant accident, and problem of release large amounts of radioactivity, they didn’t yet determined the cause of nuclear accident and started again the operation of dangerous nucelar power at Oiigenpatsu. On other hand, we making a anti-nuclear movement, but everybody effort could not stop yet the nuclear power activity.
The situation of workers is very strict,and japanese factory like Sharp company are looking for financial assistance, in these condition we worried about the increase of non regular workers and company’s planned restructuring.
we held the 55th annual convention today, to determine the policy of join effort independent if you are regular or no-regular workers, japanese or foreigners, to fight together to overcome this critical situation.
Let’s mobilize the power of each one members to make a Big power with purpose of realizing these policies.

Knowing The STAIKE'S Law

Strike is a collective manifestation and conducted by volunteer workers for the purpose of obtaining benefits, such as increase wages, improved working conditions and labor rights, or to avoid losing benefíties.In accord with Article 1 of the law of union, the strike has legal principles, and shall be exempt from criminal liability. Under Article 8 of the civil code, will also be exempt from liability, and the employer will not be entitled to claim compensation for the demonstration performed by union workers. Therefore, the law of the strike is essential to ensure our rights. The validation of the strike is annually approved by mayority of subscribed members from Union mie branch the Local Net. The next Union’s Local Net Assembly will be the held on November 10, 2012 (Saturday) from 14:00 at Union Mie Headquarters. The attendence is compulsory, but if the attendence is not possible in that day, you must sign the Power of Attorney to give the polling rights to the President of Locan Net.
